Biography

June 19th, 2023 is the starting signal for PLACID PEAL, an alternative rock band from southern Hessen in Germany.

The band was already active between 2002 and 2007, was able to build up a small fan base and was invited to festivals such as Dröhnland or Emergenza, where they delighted music lovers.

Unfortunately, the singer at the time had to return to the USA for work and the band broke up shortly before the record deal.

Founding member and guitarist Engin carried the band and the songs in his heart all these years and made the decision in 2020, in the middle of Corona, to look for new musicians and continue the legacy.

And it was worth it:

PLACID PEAL come back strong.

The 5 musicians fit like gears into a machine that is capable of dismantling a room at any time and playing it softly and emotionally the next moment. The chemistry within the band is PLACID PEAL's greatest strength. You can feel that at any time.

The band is currently building a live program.

There will be old, new and maybe even a cover.
